Well it's that time of the year. The conference is just around the corner. May 3-4-5 are the conference dates. This year we are in Tinley Park at the Holiday Inn & Convention Center. (708-444-1100) Please mention that you are with the IADA to get the conference rate and help with our room count for the conference.

We will recognize all retired attendee's prior to the start of the IADA Business meeting, on Sunday morning May 4th. A continental breakfast will be served from 9:00-10:00 am. The business meeting will begin at 10:00 am.

I am also looking for some help with the 50-50 raffles. I will be getting in contact with Phil Svetich about items needed and numbers needed. We will have 50-50's at the banquet on Saturday. Please let Phil or me know if you can lend a hand selling tickets. A portion of these funds will go to offset the 2nd Annual Retired AD's Outing this fall. In the past we have had some retired AD's at the IADA booth to hand out the conference gift. If you are attending and would like to help please let me know. I am still looking for individuals to assist conference committee's. I have Golf, Hospitality and Vendor committee's covered. If you are interested in helping out with any of the other committee's, Prizes, Program, Audio Visual, please let me know so I can get your contact info to the committee chairs.

The IADA retired AD golf outing is scheduled for October 13th, at 10:00am, at the Deer Valley Country Club. Deer Valley is 8 miles south of Rock Falls. Please mark your calendar. I will have more info coming out this summer and early in the fall. Please check the IADA web site for information.

I have included some information from a company looking to hire retired individuals. You can find this info on the back of this letter.

I am on our bad addresses. There is a list on the IADA web page of AD's we do not have correct addresses for. Please review this list and if you have some corrected addresses please send them my way. As always if you have any ideas that could help bridge the gap between our active and our retired membership, do not hesitate to call me, email me or see me at the convention. We still have a lot of room for improvement.
