IADA Announcements
| 11/22/2011 | Pere Marquette to Close December 2 - Conference venue adjusted
Due to the closing of the Pere Marquette Hotel in Peoria on December 3, 2011 (until February 2013), we have been forced to relocate the banquet site and hotel for the 2011 IADA Conference. This year the conference banquet will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton in downtown Peoria (formally the Holiday Inn City Center). This is an additional 2 blocks form the Peoria Convention Center but will allow us the same access to downtown Peoria as we had in the past. The January Executive Board meeting will be held at the Four Points. | | 10/19/2011 | AD Dependent Scholarship named after John VanFleet
At the IADA executive board meeting on Sunday, October 16 the board unanimously approved a motion to name the AD dependent scholarship after retired Hall of Fame athletic director, John VanFleet. John has served the IADA for many years as the LTC coordinator as well as a myriad of other responsibilities. It is fitting that John will present this scholarship to two seniors, who have a parent who is an athletic director, at the IADA conference banquet each spring. | | 9/8/2011 | IADA Announces JOHN VAN FLEET AD Dependent Scholarship
